“The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude… I am convinced… that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it”, Charles Swindoll. //Marianne

"Remember, happiness doesn't depend upon who you are or what you have, it depends solely upon what you think". Dale Carnegie

Sometimes, based on the prior day, I realize that I must re-focus my attitude that might have been soured by, one circumstance or, another.
Should I maintain from the previous day, I only attract more of the same so, sometimes it is a forced issue worth forcing.
I think this happens to all of us, good that you are doing something about it. Which not all do,
.
So very true. We have a choice every single day.
Yes we do, and that scares some people… But not you,
.
Trying to understand the difference between attitude and mood is something that came up in one of my students essays…she is writing an essay inspired by the quote: “You can’t direct the wind but you can adjust the sails”, isn’t this a lovely quote?! Read you soon, Alexandra
What an interesting topic for an essay, and I love that quote!
