Celebration

It is time for me to celebrate, being grateful and honoured at the same time. The blog community is an amazing place, full of inspirational, and creative people. I am glad that I’m part of this positive environment. Today I would like to say a big thank you, or “vinaka” as we say in Fiji to 7 people who have nominated my blog to various awards. Please check out these brilliant blogs. They will put a big smile on your face, and make your day even better. The following 2 blogs have nominated med for the Reality Blogging Award;

Tropical cyclone Evan is heading directly towards Fiji, and is expecting to hit us tomorrow. We have still things to prepare, and I hope you will excuse me for cutting this post short and not nominate other blogs. In my eyes you are all amazing, beautiful stars! I’m so grateful and once again “Vinaka”! //Marianne

  4. Congratulations, Marianne…
    We heard on the news this morning that the cyclone hit with devastating results… I do hope you are safe…!

    • Thank you Carolyn, we’re still waiting for it to hit us and the weather has changed in last couple of hours. Samoa on the other hand has been hit very badly, I hope it won’t happen to us.

      • Yes, that’s what we heard… Samoa has been hit badly… Has the intensity dropped…?

      • Carolyn, “Evan” has now passed Fiji, and we got the power back. In Suva we only lost power but the northern and western part has been hit badly. How badly we don’t know yet because we only got power back about an hour ago. But I know the intensity didn’t drop.
